Welcome

The NC Space Cowboys is an AMA sanctioned club with an open membership. We welcome guest pilots, the public, and AMA certified pilots. Youth programs, community events, flight training, and open events to other AMA clubs are an important part of what we do.

Other flying clubs have rated our field as one of the best grass fields in Eastern North Carolina. We have onsite electrical, camper parking, pilot canopy area, and a large fenced area for pilots and their aircraft. During fly-ins, we offer concessions, music, and a show announcer.

If you fly: control line, ducted fan, electric, fixed wing, free flight giant scale, jets, park flyers, pattern, rockets, soaring, gas or fuel, we encourage modelers of all types to join the fun.

Our field is open from sunup to sunset, unless we have a special night fly. There is no hunting, alcohol, or drugs allowed, and all airborne aircraft must have model identification. Some noise limitations may apply.
